hi, i am very confused with something, some guides say they should be in "\dev_hdd0\home\00000001\exdata" in my case i only have "\dev_hdd0\home\00000018\exdata"
but other guides say the rap files should be in "\dev_hdd0\exdata"

which location is correct?

RAP files should be placed in /dev_hdd0/exdata

with HEN or latest CFW, the rap files will be detected and RIF licenses auto-generated as needed.

RAP files can be placed in dev_hdd0/exdata or dev_usb00/exdata or dev_usb00/exdata

Instead of RAP files, the new rap.bin can contain thousands of RAP files in a single file; which eliminates the loooong copy process if you want to have the activation files in the internal HDD.

Thank you everyone. I managed to find something called rap2bin and used it to compile a pack of 29k rap files into a single file, i tried copying the raw files and it crashed my ps3 or filezilla each time i wanted to access or edit the exdata folder, i couldn't even delete it, i had to format my hdd. Now using a single 2mb file is quick and clean.

I also have a pack of edat files too, i copied them to "\dev_hdd0\home\00000018\exdata" according to @Berion advice. Hopefully now my console is setup correctly.
