How do I reassign PKG files downloaded from PSN servers to make them work on my PS3 running CFW? I remember being able to do it in the past but forgot how.

Right off the bat? I'm talking about installing pkg from pkgi. 'I get an error about setting my time and I don't have access to psn.

If you don't have access to PSN, you will never be able to download your purchased content.

Also, PSN is needed to activate your console as well as your content.

@kingofbeers All Sony packages can be installed on every firmware, no matter if OFW or CFW. Error you mentioned in second post is... self-explained. You need set RTC properly because SSL needs it, and licensing mechanism needs SSL.

@GuilloteTesla You can activate console by homebrew eg by Apollo. It will use random NP Account ID, so if user need specific one, he need prepare owners info in XML before attempt to activating.

Yes, but OP stated that he wanted to download packages from PSN. Using the fake activation feature from Apollo or Cobra plugin will only solve the clock issue.

RTC must work, no matter which way the activation is created. ;] Wrong date & time = no working licenses.
