Hi guys. I am new to this forum but i think i am in the right place to be.
I have some issues and i do not know whick one is for me. Maybe you will be able to give me the right answers.
For me this is what i need for my console:
1. Run JB games
2. Run .pkg PSN games such as Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
3. Run Emulators like MAME, NES etc.
4. Run PS2 games [in the easyest way possible].

I don't really want to go online, i don't really want tot run ISOs.

I am on Rebug 4.76.1 LITE right now and .pkg PSN games does not work.
My question about Rebug, is why does it have the COBRA features ? Is it for those who do not have MOD chip but want to run iso games ?
I think REBUG is not for me and i want to go with Ferrox for what i need.
Thank you.

Since you're on REBUG LITE right now you have *Package Manager if you like that feature then you would want to keep REBUG as most other mainstream CFWs don't include that feature (but you could always install it with a homebrew app/ manual install)

1>every CFW will run JB Games
2>pkg games should also run fine on any CFW
3>emulators also should run fine on any CFW
4>Best and easiest way to run any and mostly all your PS2 Game would be to use HABIB 4.78 w/ Cobra 7.30

Best CFWs out now include Cobra which used to run off a USB dongle but is now open source and updated regularly by our scenes talented devs. It has nothing to do with the ODE besides being created by the same company before the they created the ODE. Your best game compatibility would be ISO, all Backup Manager create ISOs from JB folders quite easily. I could go on but most of what I'm telling you plus anything else you might want to know can be found in our forums, and we're always glad to help if you have any other questions

It depends on your needs. If you need a CFW lite, without much customization then recommend the Ferrox. Simple, clean and fast. ( version 478 include package manager )
If you need an advanced CFW, (boot iso PS2 / PSP) I highly recommend you move rebug cobra or Habib cobra.

Try them all and choose what is the best for your needs.

You might want habib cobra 4.78 instead actually, at least until mamba gets updated again. It's probably your best choice. You can toggle Cobra off when you are not using PS2 support btw. Cobra 7.3 is a must now for PS2 games support on non BC consoles.

Ferrox would have been a good choice but you would need to use mamba 7.2 for Ps2 support & a placeholder/launcher + u would have wireless pad sync issues.

To do everything you mentioned as being important to you I think the latest habib cobra cfw is probably the best.

You could also install Rebug & update Cobra. Or better yet, wait for Joonie to release an update (It's coming soon) Rebug is the most complete cfw out there. You can do anything with Rebug, have it run as standard CEX or with Mamba or with Cobra...
Sure it may seem overly full of features you don't use but it doesn't matter really, in the end whatever you need, a Rebug CFW will likely be able to give you..
You should also know that using the Rebug Toolbox on Rebug allows you to disable Cobra & webMAN-MOD easily. Cobra is disabled by default in Rebug anyway!

What do you mean using mod chip? On PS3? Cobra is not for mod chip users...You are getting confused with the old Cobra USB dongles. Nowadays Cobra is integrated because of all the possibilities it offers.
Read up on Cobra & you will see its value.

Am not sure I understand why you are so hell bent in using JB games... Do you have any particular reasons? In my opinion, ISOs are much better for a number of reasons...
