The developers have release a revised version of their Cobra custom firmwares for both retail consoles and of course DEX. Hum... Ok. Well I haven't had problems with any games yet... black screen or otherwise... Actually, MGSV Phantom Pain, for some reason, I get an error while installing the game if I'm using ISO format, I can only get the game to install in JB format, and after installing, then I can run the game from ISO in external hdd NTFS hard drive... But it actually runs better on JB since it can install that way... as for BD-MIRROR, I wouldn't know cause all my backups are in ISO format except MGS4 and MGSV which for some reason won't run in ISO (specially MGS4, MGSV PP won't allow installing the game due to error, but will run after isntalling game data from JB format) only JB, and I don't touch any game settings unless I have to, since I mount everything from webMan, and I haven't had to check any game settings such as internal/external, direct boo, requires original, BD/MIRROR etc etc....

about those games that make problems when psnpatch is used. Try following

1. All Call of duty series
2. Dead Island series
3. Beyond two souls
4. I can't think of any atm

About the issue with MGS V, that's known issue caused by the app that you use to build ISO.

I recommend genps3iso 2.5 to build the game if you like. for some reason make ps3iso developed by estwald seems making problems of some games.

So Joonie...

I've installed Rebug 4.75.2 REX, the updated toolbox, it has an updated webMan Mod Rebug edition as well, but there is something that changed, which is, PSNpatch is not loading automatically at start up... I can load it via webMan, but I preferred the way it worked before on 4.75.1 REX, where it would load automatically on startup, as it was listed on hdd0/boot_plugins.txt. Now, it is still listed there, but it won't load, so I'm guessing Rebug devs changed where cobra looks for the boot_plugins.txt location, and so, PSNpatch doesn't load automatically at startup... Does anyone know the new location of the boot_plugins.txt so I can edit it to make PSNpatch boot automatically at startup again?? I've already tried uninstalling PSNpatch plugin and reinstalling to see if it would work, but seeing as all that does is add the line psnpatch.sprx to boot_plugins.txt, it didn't work...
Do you know any work arounds?? or should I get back to 4.75.1 REX with ARCH's spoofer since you guys pulled 4.75.2 from the website?

Thanks!!

ARCH's spoofer breaks cobra's functionality, wait for 4.75.3 please. the issue with external plugins is fixed already, just doing some stability test at the moment. I don't have much time on these days, this will be the last update until the new ofw update.

Oh ok!! that explains it!!! On PC I use ISOtools 2.1 which was the latest I could find, there I can choose from make ps3iso or genps3iso, it was set to make ps3iso, I switched it to gen ps3iso already. when making the ISO's on the PS3 itself, I was using IRISMAN (which uses make ps3iso) just because it can write directly to the external NTFS hdd, but that was what was causing the problematic ISO's after all, which is weird, cause some ISO's from other games work perfectly made with IRISMAN/makeps3iso, even my Dead Island ones... Anyway, Thanks a lot for the INFO!!!

Really?? Are you sure? Before I installed ARCH's spoofer, I switched from Rebug to Normal mode, left cobra Enabled, rebooted, installed the spoofer, and then cobra was still working cause I was able to mount my backup and go online... are you sure it breaks cobra??

Well, anyway, I'm really no playing online that much lately so... I'm mostly playing MGSV Phantom Pain (which is AWSOME and BRUTAL, great graphics!!), so I can wait for 4.75.3, no problem!! I can always use ARCH's spoofer as a last resort in case I want to go online.

Thanks for all your hard work team Rebug and all the Scene DEVS!!!

Quick EDIT:

So yeah, I just reverted back to 4.75.1 REX, Normal mode, and CEX qa on, and cobra Enabled, installed ARCH's spoofer, and Cobra is still working after spoofer being installed!! Just wanted to verify and confirm that!!!

Cheers!!

You misunderstood, I didn't say it couldn't be mounted, games that require "BD-MIRROR" make blackscreen issue.

Thanks for the update. Installed 4.75.2 over 4.75.1 (no spoofs enabled) and was no longer able to launch anything from the XMB. Could mount PSX ISO's and such, but trying to run any PS3 ISO's would just give the 8002xxxx error. I'll roll back and wait for 4.75.3

You forgot to enable COBRA as it seems

And webman as well

Now try PS2 / PSP games [you probably don't care much], other than those two, everything should be ok

They're both enabled and running. I'm able to see all the ISO"s over NET0 and mount them.

PSX ISO's run just fine and can mount.
PS3ISO's mount, but trying to run from disc icons ends with the 80021984 messages. Rolling back to 4.75.1 fixed it though.

Yep, you're right, I can confirm it... I only have 1 PS2 backup, and 2 PSP backups with me (as all my original PS2 discs are back in my home country, and my kid brother's PSP game backups are on another PC), but I FTPed the PS2 backup and a PSP backup to my PS3, and PS2 game mounts, but shuts down the PS3 when you launch it, and PSP doesn't even mount even though webman indicates that the backup was mounted.
PS3 backups though seem to be working normal, and since the spoof is mostly to play PS3 games online, I guessing most people that install it won't have a problem with cobra for PS2 and PSP being broken...

Ok that sounds like a problem with webman, though that's weird, i've been playing mgs5 just fine, i will investigate the issue thanks again

4.75.2 REBUG how to withdraw, there is a problem Your official website

Psn patch xmb plugin doesn't work on rebug 4.75.2 for some reason. It worked on 75.1 though.
I tried reinstalling it a couple of times, flashing cfw second time but it just doesn't work.
