PS3 Red Ribbon help

I just finished installing red ribbon to my ps3 and am trying to install google chrome. I have the google chrome debian package, but when I try to intstall it with the following command:

sudo apt-get install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

After pressing enter it just says E: Release 'google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb' for '*about 50 different things*' was not found. It doesn't even ask for my password.
Note that the version of red ribbon the ps3 supports has no "apt" command. Only apt-get. "apt" just returns a "command not found" reply

I just want to use a more up to date browser. Most sites won't support iceweasel (the default browser)

I'm in the same way I'm looking for a more up-to-date browser but no matter how much I look, I can't find any compatible browser google chrome amd64 is not compatible for powerpc firefox if it is compatible but I didn't find any updated version to run only old

Not sure if is going to work in PS3, but you should try falkon, is x64 only

Applications must be compiled for Linux with target PPC. Compiled apps for x86 will not work.
