Advanced Power Options v1.11 (CFW & HEN)

PS3 [RELEASE] Advanced Power Options v1.11 (CFW & HEN) v1.11

I want to install this advance power options.pkg on my ps3 super slim hen 2.3.1 but always error 8001003A on enabled hen
dev_blind must be mounted, You can use wMM to mount it, or HEN Toolbox, or Multiman,

Or you can use the ps3xploit : http://**ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new)/hen/blind/

FYI HEN users: The shutdown option is the only one that will work without HEN enabled. If you try to use the reboot options it will kick you to recovery, if that happens just press the PS button.

it happened with me and then I have to connect usb cable to ds3 then press ps button and then it works
now I understand only shutdown option work without enable hen
rest option need enable hen

Very good a question the application works fine in HEN but entering safe mode does not return me to the xmb menu because it will be this. Thank you. Greetings.

Not sure what you mean, the recovery mode options will take you to this screen which is technically recovery MODE:

There is no way to access the recovery MENU without using the power button procedure AFAIK.

Okay, this is quite good.

But if for example, I Initialize my PS4 completely with CFW, is the Advanced Power Settings will still be there, because it was flashed in dev_blind?

Not sure what you mean by "initialize completely with cfw" , but if you restore your PS3 to default factory settings (clear xregistry), or format the hdd (dev_hdd), it will still be installed/active as its stored on dev_flash (aka dev_blind). However if you reinstall CFW/HFW firmware PUP then you will needs to install the pkg again. It takes 2 seconds as its a 350kb pkg. I just keep it in dev_hdd0/packages, so its always available after a CFW reinstall.

I might add a "ScreenSaver Mode" as an option in v1.11. It's done with a really simple line of offline JS that creates a transparent background. I know we can get a fullscreen wave as a visualization while playing music, well this is the same except no music required. Thanks @xps3riments for the JS.

Advanced Power Options v1.11:

Small update:
  • Added screensaver mode to advanced options - Full screen background with no icons, thanks to @xp3riments for the offline JS to do that.
  • Moved Reload XMB app into the advanced options sub menu.
  • Removed the NAND recovery mode option, NAND users can use v1.10 if they really need that.
  • Slipstreamed category_user_login.xml by linking it back to the main xml.
Just install and reboot, dev_blind must be mounted.

how do i unzip pkg? I also wanted to know the program you used. I tested and liked a lot.

To remove it from the XMB you could just revert to the OFW category user xmls I suppose (attached). Or you can reinstall HFW and HEN. If you just replace the xmls there will be a few icons left in explore/icon/ folder on flash.
