Happy Holidays All! Thanks to devil303, I have decided to start releasing my PS Home Offline work on PSX Place as opposed to just my discord server and YouTube channel. So this here is a developer build of the PS3 Game called "PlayStation Home" but for short I call it "PS Home Offline" and by looking at its boot screen in the image above, I'm sure you can guess why.

Anyways in terms of what I have here for you is a way to download, install and play this PS Home Offline Game on both RPCS3 and PS3 and the thing is with this game is that content is constantly being added to it. Its real content but the way we add it is not by official means. And the way content is kept track of is by giving each content update I make a version. Its not reflected in the game at all but its so everyone is on the same page in terms of content inside the game. Currently its on update 3.12 and thus, the next update will be update 3.13 and so on. And when a new update is released, you can either add a standalone version of that update to your already existing PS Home Offline base game or redownload the entire game which I would not recommend. Since this is my first time posting the base game on PSX place, the standalone update will not be necessary but I will do so when update 3.13 is out along with a new base build that has update 3.13 content inside of it.

Useful information:
  • This works on both PS3 HEN & CFW. The only difference between the 2 is that for HEN users, if HEN is not enabled, the game will not boot. You must have HEN enabled or currently on CFW for it to boot so switching back to OFW will cause the game to not be able to boot.
  • In the game, the Keyboard Keys F1 - F11, HOME & END all have a special function. Here's what each of them do:
  • F1: Loads SCEA Navigator Menu (Loads by default)
  • F2: Loads SCEE Navigator Menu
  • F3: Loads SCEJ Navigator Menu
  • F4: Takes screenshot (Saved in DEV_HDD0/GAME/NPIA00010/USRDIR)
  • F5: Turns ON character collision (On by default)
  • F6: Turns OFF character collision
  • F7: Sets run speed to 4 (default run speed)
  • F8: Sets run speed to 15
  • F9: Opens Command Console
  • F10: Enter free cam mode
  • F11: Teleport character to camera position
  • HOME: takes you to harbour studio (Use this as an emergency eject button)
  • END: reload the space you're currently in

Where to find download links:
Please note that when a new update is released, the download link to the base build is likely to change so be sure to keep up to date. These 2 videos linked below will always have their download links accordingly.

Nice work @Splicewave & Co.

This is an impressive build of Playstation Home that I recommend everyone here try out. It's a work in progress that is getting better all the time, This update in particular is massive. AFAIK this is the most complete build of Home ever created.

Thanks @Splicewave & @DeViL303 for all your efforts preserving Home and making it playable again.

How your projects compare? Could them be merged at some point?

I'm really just still learning and working on tools right now so Splicewaves is the one to use. Don't really have a build exactly, just loads of tests. Lots of my discoveries are being used in Splicewaves build though.

My hope is when the tools are done, the whole lot as in EVERYTHING can be dumped and mapped quickly. What used to take hours will take minutes or seconds.

For example I decrypted and dumped 50k object SDATs the other day with SDAT Dumper in the space of 3 hours, working on bulk mapping now. Currently I can map about 20 objects per minute without needing to enter the object UUID for each one which is tedious, but the process is still a WIP right now.

Is the mapping done manually? Maybe it could be automated if the formats & rules are known.

It was done semi manually up until now, you were required to enter the UUID of objects before it would map, but bulk mapping is now automated, just a few small areas are not perfect yet so its not ready for release. Soon though.

So to answer your questions, I've been working on PS Home Offline for the past 2 and a half years and it has seriously grown alot in that time, especially in terms of content, features and just the quality of the game even. I met devil303 in August 2022 and we have worked together on several things such as getting PS Home Offline on HEN/CFW systems because before that, it was available on PS3 only through DEX firmware and target manager on PC which wasn't convenient to launch the game to say the least. And when the HEN/CFW build came out, I decided to discontinue the DEX build and I asked everyone I knew who played it, they didn't have a problem with it.

And devil is right. Alot of the stuff he makes work such as Audi Iron Man minigame is in my build of PS Home Offline and in this community, I don't know of anyone else who makes base builds or updates of this stuff. Not to mention I make the video tutorials on this stuff too.
