When installing new resources / content from USB, will that stuff be cloned into the Ultimate Toolbox for future use without USB?

Or, is it all manual and I'll have to make edits to the XML / other areas?

This makes PS3EXTISO seem outdated now, but my version had alot of new logos, waves, category icons and font styles that I added in myself.

No, that would require you to edit the xmls yourself. Or if you didnt want to edit xmls, you could just replace resources with others that you prefer.

If you have some resources that you think should be included, You could share them here and I can add them in 1.04 .if they are suitable.

58 out of 83 waves that I have gathered are not in the Ultimate Toolbox, I think... I've been sorting through my xmb waves for the past couple of hours, trying to find out what you already have and what is missing, doing tests on PS3 with the toolbox and my private variant of XMB Extras Collection by KMZ

I wanted to note that LEGACY WAVE 012 is mislabeled. Shows GRN/YLW Smoke on Rainbow BG but is really the Rainbow Cloak wave

I've provided the fix folder containing proper .qrc for WAVE 012 in the wave pack provided.

Also, all waves are still in the DATA000.PKG format, I did not know whether I should leave them be or strip them farther apart.

and props to the guy who created MAXMODMAN, as about 30 of these waves come from him.

There's 2 or 3 waves from MAXMODMAN that I did not provide, because they cause me softbrick.

I think I remember it to be the intense miami (red.blu.purp) and the intense cyan, both tide waves.

NVR, this options is already cancelled, they were from a friend that has a repair shop with a lot of dead ps3s, his pc hdd got corrupted and lost it with no way to retrieve it back since the consoles are already dead.

btw why it had potential to screw someone? since the IDPS are all legit from broken consoles, it was meant to help people with no way to get a new one and need to reactivate their purchased content?

Actually, the only links of your server are the ones of your XMBPD screensavers, that are linked to show in the ''online wallpapers'' category.

Yeap, actually in the internal version it has a "What's new widget" with the title, "if you like my work please consider making a small donation."

But in the release version, i'll remove it, i'll soon post it here.

This was introduced in v5.0 as far as i remember, the new one does not include it or any kind of ad.

Remember that i said before releasing a new one i'll send it to you and any other adm to see if it is not violating any site rules?

and it was always to my understanding that the XMBPD functions of PS3Pro were a hand-down from DeViL303's earlier build on 4.81

It's also probably feasible that the majority of what created PS3Pro was learned from an earlier successor.

With fake or illegitimate trademarks and fake labels that say 4K when it's just an obsession to call it 4K but it's really not

I don't know, never really liked it much... the annoying firefly effect and too many categories and toolboxes that start off blank

and literally, when I use PS3Pro, I unpackage it on the PC, throw half the files away (lol) and just use the "File Manager" in "Game"

Yes, it was always marketed in a very misleading way IMO, trying to make out like boost mode actually did something to make the console quicker. And yes, also relying on the fact people did not understand it was not adding anything related to 4k except some fake labels, lots and lots of people fooled by this, and then adding tonnes of ads on the download links, donate links etc. It took me about 15 minutes to actually get to the download link once, with tonnes of pop ups and fake download buttons etc. When I mentioned it I was told I need to get ad blocker...

It would have been very easy to add a warning at the top "This is only a visual mod, it does not speed up your console and does not add 4k capabilities" , but it was always about monetizing other people work.

I would say you must have installed something that swapped your category_game.xml.

You can add this query manually to your own xml:

Sorry to ask a stupid question but is this meant as a full drop in replacement to another homebrew already installed?
I tried installing it, an I think it overwrote some webman / multiman files but didn't fully install alothough it seemed to change another apps icon are you supposed to install only one backup loader, unistall & start a fresh?, they all share each overs features & files?
again sorry being such a newb to PS3 homebrew.
Another question, can you have different firmware on differnt hdd's?, nothing is burnt to the actual chips? I want to able to access PSN using offcial firmware also, everything i've tried with CFW doesn't work.
