Ultimate Toolbox

PS3 [RELEASE] ★ Ultimate Toolbox v2.03 - It Only Does Everything! v2.03 (FW 4.84 - 4.91)

@aldostools @DeViL303

Instead of making a lot of waves with different options, what about make a way to webman decompile and change offsets on the rcos and recompile it afterwards? So it can apply changes in every rco on the fly.

It would be great to be able to modify and repack qrcs and rcos on the console, but it would be a lot of work, there are thousands of values and files inside qrcs and rcos.

webMAN MOD does not decompile anything... it only remaps in memory the lines.qrc in /dev_flash to a different version in /dev_hdd0. /dev_flash is not touched.

As DeViL303 commented, what you ask requires a lot of work to do it.

Still a lot of work, but if it could remove the qrc 8 byte header, decompress with zlib, then values inside the qrc could be patched via HEX in theory, so the wave color and speed could be changed etc.

Anyway, I would rather it couldn't do that, as I have spent countless hours making about 400 waves now. lol. :D

Feature request: if possible In descriptions, the current version installed & most up to date version available.

This helps in determining if updates are necessary. Also if you are going modular this helps users know the most up to date features vs currently installed etc....

Webman mod could benifite from this update section info as well Aldo.

Also, fyi, both apps are playing nice as everytime webman updates, UT requires plugin update at fist run after so far.

Looking forward for the next versions. Killer stuff. Keep it up as my ps3 is loving this. :)

I keep getting error 80029567 whenever i try and install resource files from the Toolbox, anyone else have this issue and how to sort it?

I think that's around the corrupted pkg file error iirc, so something may be wrong with your connection. I haven't used this mod, so I don't have any experience, but I know what that error means.

Installed the extended download plugin and it took me to what looked like a safe mode where it says it cannot restart, press ps button to restart or start + select to reinstall firmware. It's given me this message a few times when i choose some options. I am using EvilNat CFW.

It sounds like you have reinstalled CFW since installing the Toolbox. If you do that you need to go Toolbox Setup and reinstall the plugin, otherwise almost every option will do that.

Yeah i was messing about with Ferrox and EvilNat seeing which CFW i preferred but they seem roughly the same. I will try the reinstall plugin

Yeah anytime you install CFW again, it wipes flash and removes the plugin. Not much I can do about that but I will try make it more clear in future versions that it must be reinstalled in that case.

It's worked! The downloads work now.
Nice one.

System fails when I choose these two options (Log S, Log K)

IDK, its working here. I can't help there.

If you really need those options I recommend you use Rebugs built in Custom Firmware Tools.

sorry im pretty new with xmb mods. this should work with ferrox cfw 4.87 right? do i just need to pkg-install this (and then choose the install in the toolbox menu) or do i need to enable anything beforehand?
