PS3 HAN Remote Play patch on 4.82 OFW?

There was a patch for the remote play function in the PS3 released some years ago but it's for firmware 3.55. Would that patch work on a Super Slim with OFW 4.82? Was there ever an updated version of that patch that would work on latest OFW? I assume it wouldn't and I really don't want to try and brick my console with this or something. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I haven't done any playstation CFW or modding since the PSP Go and the PS3 seems to be very different. Thank you for your time.
 
You can always enable remote play in individual apps/games by editing the PARAM.SFO file. It's what I'm currently doing to play them on my PSP. It won't work on PC Remote Play though, that requires some kind of patch.
 
That's what I wanted to use though, the cracked VAIO remote play. HAN has an option that looks like it could install this patch but I'm pretty sure Sony changed a lot between 3.55 and 4.82 and it's not going to be compatible. And you can't downgrade a super slim that low if at all can you?
 
I'd be interested in that aswell. Would be usefull to record some footage of the PS3 on the PC and what not.

And yeah, you can't go that low on a Super Slim.

Dont expect superb quality out of it mate ;)

I tried it myself,just for experimental purposes, and dear lord the quality its awfull :D

Too right mate, i never used in the PS3 anyway, now on my PS4 its a whole different story, mainly on my Xperia XZ ;)
