PS4 [Research]PS2 emulator configuration on PS4

@kozarovv can you suggest any configs for Outrun 2006 coast 2 coast.

.Works with Jak Emu but game randomly freezes every 20 secs during gameplay & you can finish a race.
.Theres a some graphical issues such as shadows & a white line.
No idea, this game is also problematic on ps3.

Possible fixes for Burnout 2 POI white elements.
Maybe someone can test, if one region work, another also should work.

OH HELL YEAH!!! I'll be testing this post haste! The spiky-poly nonsense going on with Curse of Darkness was brutal, I'm so glad someone has looked into fixing it ^_^ I'll build two, one with Rogue and one with Jak. Thanks, @kozarovv <3

This game is a beast!! I wonder how good it looks on PS4
 
Nope.. unfortunately not, exactly the same flickering spiky-poly syndrome issues. They start immediately at the fountain and get exponentially worse inside the castle :( This on the "Jak" emulator, I tried normal untouched ISO and a widescreen-patched one. I'm now trying on earlier emulator templates....

With 2x2 and widescreen patching it looks gorgeous! FMVs are great and the visuals are clean and crisp.. it's just a shame the SPS kills it :(

If that not work, you can try to mess with FIRST config and VU/COP2 Clamp/no clamp. But that's all i can do without PS4 :/
 
Another dead end, unfortunately :( I tried; new floats with no clamp patches... same issue. I tried original floats with all 4 levels of clamps... still same issue :(

You'll be pleased to know that it works PERFECTLY! :D No more white over-bloom, no broken lighting, it works great on SLUS-204.97, using the Rogue Galaxy emulator which originally had massive problems with the lights/bloom.

I'm sorry the others didn't work (real sorry, in fact, as CV CoD is definitely on my wanted list for the PS4, along with Dark Alliance 1/2 and Metal Saga) -- but hey, I'm also relieved that it wasn't me messing up the PKGs and patches somehow, lol! Thanks for trying regardless :)
 
Crushing it lately! Also know that I'm ok to test when off work (usually after 6pm EST)

Do us a favour and run through Curse of Darkness and Transformers, if you get the chance. I just want to make sure it wasn't something I did wrong or missed out on. Seems strange that two fixes would both fail, yanno?

Will do. Results coming ASAP (as I need to get Transformers but own CCoD)
 
Ok, I got the same exact results on Transformers and CCoD as Sabin1981. I tried the Rogue and Jak emus. I'd say that confirms the result and not that it should matter but I'm on a 505 phat console, not a Pro.

Going to try some unlisted/untested games myself and will update the compatibility list when done.

Still, it seems like things are moving again in the PS2 on PS4 arena!
