Just add the following configuration to TXT：

--vif-ignore-invalid-cmd=0
--vif1-ignore-cmd-ints=1
--vif1-instant-xfer=0

No LUA configuration is required. If you add too much LUA, it won't help the game, it will only slow down the game seriously. The game will still have blurry graphics in the fifteenth level, which is now the only drawback. This game has a progressive scan mode. After the PS2 logo is displayed, quickly press and hold the triangle key and the cross key of the handle. This can eliminate the jitter caused by interlacing, but there will be some slight graphics errors in the game.

did you try vu1-mpg-cycles command? Value 950 or 700 or other probably...
But that game still not FiXed as im know

This is cli of Van Helsing game! This game was have issue with slow FMV too. I beleave that --vu1-mpg-cycles or --vu0-mpg-cycles will help solve issue but maybe someone else try take a look.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

Also, is it somehow possible to set right analogue stick inverted in emulator (particularly for Sly 2)?
