PS3 Retrive Package Links via Proxy via Linux?

So the old webstore is down and I'm trying to back up some DLC, mostly Minecraft, I've heard about doing that via proxies but I have literally no experience there, so if anyone knows how to set that up then I'd love to hear it, so I can get the stuff before July rolls around.

I'm on Manjaro Linux so if anyone knows how to mess with this for that then I'd love to hear it, the few posts i see about it only mention Android or Windows, I did try this but never got anything but errors.

I'm using this on android to retrieve package links:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.spidy.proxyserver

After setup the PS3 to use the android device as proxy, you will be able to see the requests on app "console".
