RetroArch CE (Unofficial - Community Edition)

PS3 RetroArch CE (Unofficial - Community Edition) Beta 4

That is a Retroarch layer alert, it doesn't like your cue file.
Try those files (public domain project neon demo):

https://bit.ly/3sW3K72 (cue)

Set Logging level to debug:

Try to start it (always inside a folder named neocd, of course) and get all log if it doesn't start.

Works on windows only selecting subsystems and finding iso.

Code:
[INFO] [CONTENT LOAD]: Content loading skipped. Implementation will load it on its own.
[libretro INFO] [FBNeo] subsystem neocd identified from parent folder
[INFO] [Environ]: GET_SAVE_DIRECTORY.

Putting files inside a folder named neocd avoid to select subsystem and to start a ISO.

Hello @Crystal

I still use Retroarch 1.7.6 that was built before the PSL1GHT sdk, probably with a Sony sdk. I got it back in the day from libreretro official site / xbins.
Is this version any better? I mean, more compatible, better performance? Does it have the Retroarch XMB theme or just this minimalist one?

Can I use the same configs / bindings from my old installation? I also did put all my game thumbnails / cover / arts in a folder inside of the Retroarch installation. I'm afraid I will loose everything if I uninstall, if there was a way to import everything to your Retroarch version, I would be glad to make the move.

Other thing, is there a way to implement PS Move / Eye compatibility? It would be very cool to play Railshooter / Light gun games like Revolution X, Lethal Enforcers, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, etc.

Nope, RetroArch PS3 can't and won't ever run PS1/PS2.
BTW, It would be cool if we could add scanline shaders to the official Sony PS1 and PS2 emus. 2D games would benefit a lot from it.

This version isn't PSL1GHT, has less bugs and more cores.

Hi, I have a superslim with hen installed. After installing beta#3 and trying to load it the screen goes blank and the pad unresponsive. I waited over 5 mins and it stays like this. Am I doing something wrong?

That is really strange.....

I love that ozone look (the switch's os look). I have it as default for my nes, snes, genesis, and psx classics. it's very stream-lined.
