Thanks for the guidance! You have to ask to Gearsystem core developers....
Untill i update all cores to 1.10.x, old cores have incorrect info about file index-extended.it (old one was .index-extended.it but github dosen't work with file starting with ".").@Crystal I have found the following bugs in RetroArch CE beta 0.4. I think you're able to fix them:
1- If picodrive core is loaded, RetroArch is unable to find the online updates. If the core is changed, the online updater works.
2- If we load a core, then exit RetroArch and delete that core. RetroArch cannot load and returns to XMB.
I suggest to add a fallback core (e.g. the first core found in the folder cores) when the core in retroarch.cfg does not exist.
3- Many empty folders are still being created inside cores folder (autoconfig, shaders_cg, etc).
what i need to do with the at3 files?Beta #4 is out: link
PKG contains only 2048 core. Other cores can be downloaded from Main Menu -> Online Updater -> Core Downloader
Missing core from Core Downloader is a work in progress.
For who install it on to a previous beta:
In this way .cfg files will be created from scratch.
- Install pkg
- Start RetroArch PSX-Place CE
- Load 2048 core (if it isn't already loaded)
- Main Menu -> Configuration File -> Reset to Default
Edit:
In attach i make a SND0.AT3 with Children (Dream Version) - Robert Miles, composed and played on the glorious SID chip of the Commodore 64, by Raik Picheta (Eco) [Original Sid file]
I tested it on my PS3 and doesn't work... so forget it... just for now.what i need to do with the at3 files?
I tested this:Gearsystem core crashes to PS3 dashboard when loading up a GameGear rom (.gg). Genesis Plus GX loads the game just fine, but I would really like a dedicated core (with presets) for all Gamegear handheld games.
I updated to the latest version through the online updater.
I loaded 2 games and played briefly. No problems here.Someone else could test .gg roms using latest Gearsystem?
I tested this:

Checks if the core description is '1.10.0 - Gearsystem (3.4.2)' when loading it. It's from the official @Crystal repository; he did the update promptly after I reported an error.Could there be something wrong with the CORE file? It says it is updated, so I don't know what else to do about it

Thanks, I've downloaded the core from the repository.
So... do all cores need to updated this way? Or does the online updater in Retroarch CE actually work?
