PS2 RetroArch PS2 progression

Which NES emu is better? fceumm or quicknes?

And I have failed to save config to "hdd0:/RETROARCH/retroarc from HDD. I don't see entire message. The same from mass, stable builds work though.

What's wrong with new RA for ps2? Now config is 'saved' but console hangs and on USB I have a frickton of odd files in Retroarch folder.

Message:
Saved new config to "mass:/RETROARCH/retroarch.cf - for USB and somehow started to work

Failed to save config to "hdd0:/RETROARCH/retroarc - from hdd, every time.

Finally tried out some of the latest nightlies on a CRt TV. Here are my results:
FceuMM: Runs with considerable slowdown
PicoDrive. Plays sound but no video other than occasional flashes.
QuickNES: Runs smoothly, occasional slowdown (far less frequent than in any other NES emu I could get my hands on), outputs a much cleaner and smoother image.
However, Retroach creates several folders in the root of mc0, all of which show up as corrupted data in the browser. After one game is closed, the second one will boot with no sound, and, of course, a lot of things do not work at all, like exiting and restarting Retroarch.
@fjtrujy, Thank you so much for keeping the scene alive!

So from the work @fjtrujy , and now from other collaborators there are many cores available, with very regular updates ..but, I don't know of a 'changelog' for it ..so I was getting a bit lost checking updates, especially for very unfamiliar cores to me, so I've made a quick list of what is available at the moment.. it might be of use as a quick reference point for someone?
