PS3 Reverting original IDPS

Heya everyone!


I'm only making this thread to know how would i get my original PS3 IDPS after spoofing it with Evilnat's PSN tools section. Been looking for a while but sadly i haven't found anything or i'm too stupid.

Before tho, i just want to make it clear that i'm not planning to connect online. I just want to know how would i get the original IDPS after spoofing it

If anyone has any idea on how to do that, i'd be really thankful. ^-^

IDPS is written in NOR/NAND Flash, in plain text, so probably from them. Software methods on PS3 side with spoof will not retrieve real one. That's the purpose of spoofing IDPS. :P

If you don't want connect to SEN, then never spoof IDPS... Or else you will poison your saves and trophies.

I think the IDPS is spoofed temporarily in LV2 patching EID5.

Check if you have the original IDPS is still found in EID0, unless you used IDPSet to write it permanently in flash memory.

You can check the IDPS in EID0 with /cpursx.ps3 in webMAN MOD.

I've never actually used IDPSet so hopefully i can still retrieve the original one from EID0

Could you tell me more about those save & trophies being poisoned?
like, what issues does it cause if they are poisoned.

Encrypted saves and trophies by different IDPSs leads to issues with resigning, and in case of SEN, syncing trophies.

Thanks! i'll probably gonna have some of those issues but it's fine, I've also reverted back to my original IDPS so thanks both of you guys for helping me out on this.
