I am currently using my PS2 to both play games and also play DVDs on a monitor which only accepts an RGB signal. I am able to play DVDs using the old McLoader program and selecting the "DVD Region Mode" under an FMCB install. However, it's a bit of a pain as it requires a reboot each time to enable the mode.
I've got a Modbo5 chip I can install, but I'm not sure if this would "solve" this issue for me.
Does anyone know if the Modbo5 chip will enable DVDs to playback via RGB either just transparently or with some button holding sequence?
