Just to be upfront I know about the existence of the older threads asking for help on this situation, but given that it's been a couple years since those threads creations and the tools have been updated I figured that the advice I would get might be different.
So I changed out the hard drive on my fat PS3 which previously had REBUG 4.85 on it, after which I went thru the steps to reinstall CFW on it but hit a snag after it refused to load the CFW I had loaded to install. I decided to cut my losses and update to 4.87 to try and hopefully prevent anything worse from happening to my PS3. After this point, using the PS3Xploit tools site and checking the dump returned errors for ROS0 at first and then later both ROS1. My console still powers down and boots just fine but I'm worried if something will happen to it and I want to know what I need to do to prevent any unfortunate problems from arising.
My PS3 is a CECHP01 and I can provide anything else needed. Sorry for the trouble and thank you for your time!
