Just showing some balling work. I've been reballing since before the PS3 existed, and I'm almost 50 now, so this is just a quick speed-up of the process. 
Lately, I've found a few tricks with RSX flux amount and consistency that give me an almost perfect ball attach about 95% of the time.
One trick I've been using is to warm the chip up slightly first, then apply tacky flux. The heat lets the flux melt and spread evenly before it cools. Then I take an LCD screen card and swipe it totally flat across the chip in both directions. After letting it fully cool, the flux layer seems to be just about perfect. I'll have to make a video showing that method one day.
