PS4 (Rumor) Possible Exploit for 8.52

you should be buying games anyway. chances are high that the newest exploit will be very unstable. with each new firmware, it gets more and more unstable. that's why people, such as myself, stay on 5.05.
I'm on 8.03 ...i regret selling my super slim PS3 with 60 euro..I've payed 100 euro for a PS4 slim in July and since I wait for a xploit...

that's not a bad price if I understand the conversion rate to $. I would just be patient. you pretty much have to be with the ps4 exploits, even after they're released. it's nothing like the ps3 ones, because samu has to do almost everything for us. that's essentially the system vulnerability, since we don't have the keys for a lot of things on our own, unlike with the ps3.

Should I prepare myself with esp8266 4mb?i didn't test it .but I saw tutorials..and it's safer than browser and connect online..

it's too soon. there's no payloads or rop/js stuff for 8.03. I think you flash them to the esp. I don't own one. I use a wifi stick instead, which is pretty much the same as you can be totally offline with either.

you could buy one though. my friend prb makes esp files from his hosts, which he also makes with the help of my other friend leeful. leeful is amazing at making offline hosts. he gave me his icons for xproject, which I think I still have somewhere (probably in the download folder of my external hdd).

he's (leeful) one of those people who doesn't want credit for what he does, so he gives stuff to other people, such as me, to release like the latest xproject out of beta.

I will buy one..it's only 5 euro..but I have to wait to see if exploit have 4 mb or more?and after the xploit I have to wait for a release for esp...

There is a well known dev that has full control of SAMU which was one of the 3 Musketeers that gave us the PS3 lvl0 keys. I wouldn't count on ever being publicly released because after it leaked to GaryOPA and was sold to Blue Disk for the first 4.21 CFW it is a undisclosed hack to everyone due to idiots like that. Glad he got popped for Xecuter SX. He was the guy behind Cobra BlackFin (which he never paid the dev for his time so he leaked it all) was part of the True Blue single team and those terrible PnP PS Classic True Blue USB drives.

the sandisk connect I'm using is 8GBs, but it was maybe $16. they don't make them that small anymore, it would seem, so you'd probably have to get a 64GB+, but 8GBs is obviously more than enough. some payloads are somewhat large, like the one for orbis toolbox, but you can use netcat to send the payload over. I've used it before as well as using the payload from the host. orbis toolbox is still in the alpha stages afaik, but it can show you temps in game in the right, left, or center, whatever you choose, but it could cause the game to crash upon booting it, so you have to be aware of that.

@atreyu187 , I'm kinda glad we don't have full control over the ps4, at least publicly. I feel like scenes, especially the playstation ones, become too easy, so no one learns how the system works anymore. I like how the ps4 is everything done the hard way. I miss that with the vita. remember unity? and velf files?

Everytime i update my ps4 a hack suddenly comes out mere weeks after so i'm stuck on 8.03 for now lol missed out on 6.72, 7.05 and 7.55 now i'm kicking myself

What are you regretting for?
Your PS3's sale price is rather high, while the PS4 slim purchasing price is rather low. I even wonder where you live...
OK, for now you can buy Disk to run official PS4 games, sell them after you've finished, that's not costing you much.

I can use a TP-Link router with wan disconnected and insert a USB stick?

I don't know about the esp, but you don't insert the wifi stick unless you're charging it or adding files. the wifi stick needs to be unplugged whenever you connect the ps4 to it via network settings.

now that I remember, I think the esp works the same way. you connect to it in network settings. your router is irrelevant as you won't be putting those credentials in (you'll be putting whatever the esp's are, same with a wifi stick). I think it depends on whose files you flash to the esp what the ip and password are, but they're almost always the same iirc.

except that would defeat the purpose of being completely offline. you can be with the esp or a wifi stick. the network settings are connected to either device rather than your router.

edit: I don't know about the esp, but my wifi stick can do ftp as well by just connecting my laptop to it.

Also a TP-Link router can do ftp..I have a wdr4300 it's old and collecting dust since I've upgraded with a newer one

that I'm aware. I also have a tp-link router. the point is not being online. though, I've heard you can do a lan connection without being online or possibly setting I think it was the subnet mask to all 0s or something. there's something like that that's supposed to allow ftp but you can't connect to the internet. that's the reason I use a wifi stick, not to be connected to the internet, because of downloading the latest update, and there have been some reports of sony remote disabling fake license files. most telemetry is gone with the dns to block updates, but not all of it.

You still don't have any news regarding xploit 8.03..no anouncement on any site...?
