second hand ps3 slim cfw,reformat hdd no boot

guys can you help me? i have a ps3 slim 200xx model, at first it is working properly, but i tried to remove custom firmware just by taking out the hardisk and formatting the hardisk to pc, i tried to put it back to ps3 but no boot, it says on the below screen shot, my problem on which firmware it has running before i format, it says overflow but i don't know if it is 4.81 to 4.85

what i dont understand it said update data of version 5.00 or later, i tried to reinstall all overflow firmware, but no luck

have you tried pressing start + select and seeing if it works? if it was qa flag enabled, it should work anyway.

you may need somebody to make you a pup file with a higher version number. then qa flag enable after installing that pup so you can downgrade to the right thing.
 
yes sir i tried to press start and select, and tried to install 4.80 cex and dex, and 4.81 to 4.85 overflow custom firmware, but it always give me the error no applicable update found even though my usb is connected to the ps3, with fat 32 format and using PS3 folder then UPDATE folder then the PS3UPDAT.PUP

i dont get why it doesnt show the last firmware installed on the ps3, instead it advise me to install 5.0 firmware which there is no existing 5.0 fw for ps3
 
Because firmware was spoofed and You will not install anything below this number. Try Rebug 3.55 downgrader or Rogero downgrader. They have set to fw v9.99. But only CEX, if Your console have installed DEX fw, it will not work. Also this will works only if Your factory firmware was 3.55 or lower. On top of that, if You have mismatch version in syscon, then installing 3.55 trigger perm brick.

Spoofs protects non technical peoples from accidentality overwrite CFW by OFW. Personally I'm against that because this brings a lot of problems in such case like i.e Yours.
 
i see, i will download rogero downgraded and see if will work, this ps3 is a slim model 20xx so it should have 3.55 or lower fw. i hope i wount brick this ps3
 
When i try to install rogero dongrader or rebug it give me this error. Using different usb this time

got it fix, for those similar issue, i have tried to install rogero dowgrader, but gives me error above 8002F2BF it is because the hardisk im trying to install the fw is faulty, i have replace it with another hdd and now its working with OFW 4.87. thank you so much guys for giving me advise :)
