PS3 Seeking advice to add WIFI function in CECHB

Hi everyone,I followed the schematic and added the SMDs near the CN3701 ribbon cable and the SMDs connected to the LAN controller,And the SMD near the WLAN indicator light, I transplanted it from the A00 motherboard, then I installed the CWI-001 with the WIFI module form A00 and turn on the console, the XMB would always prompt that the LAN was not connected. Then I restored the CWI-001 without the WIFI module and it did not prompt that it was not connected, but the LAN port could not obtain an IP address,Then I switched the resistors on R3727 to restore LAN function. What should I do next to enable WIFI temporarily/permanently on CECHB?

I think you just add that WiF/card reader module from an a0x/e0x. The B is just missing it AFAIK and the front lift panel is just a solid piece on B model. I dont have one in front of me now, but I think B model also has connector on motherboard, so you need the ribbon too.

Edit: Oh and antenna

In fact, this doesn't work. The SMD of the wifi circuit is missing on the B motherboard. I have already added it. Some people say that I need to change the IPDS or PSID in order for the firmware to recognize it as A and display the WLAN option in the setup options. I don't know how to do it. Thank you for your answer.

There IS a older thread somewhere on this group, with this exact thing and if i Remember correctly thre IS something blocked somewhere . Its not that you just add add whats missing hardware wise.

I looked and saw that I had to modify the IDPS or PSID. I have no idea about the process. Thanks for your reply.

I dont think that idps or psid its the problem here.
Any ideas? I read the thread about adding WIFI and the author mentioned changing the IDPS to CECHA to get the firmware to recognize the WLAN function. It seems that using IDPSet can do the job, but I need a clean IDPS. I have a few CECHA donor boards. I don't plan to buy a NAND reader to do this job until I can fully understand how this works. I would like to get more information.

yes it is idps. here is one of the threads

NO it can not be partly modified! It is also in the thread if you modify the idps it will return as not valid! you need to change it completely from another console.

I will try to read the IDPS on the NAND from another CECHA donation board. I will now try to temporarily change the IDPS with the REBUG TOOLBOX to see what the result will be. Thank you for your answer and help.;)

Could you provide a photo with indication what SMDs have you added? I'm also planning to add WiFi to B model but not sure how to start.

I stopped, after adding the SMD I am lost, I don't know what to do. I got the SMD on the motherboard of CECHA.
