Hi everyone! Maybe some of you can help me with this.
I contacted PSN support to delete an account that I haven't used in years and to validate the data they asked me for the S/N of the console where I first used said account. I have the console, the problem is the S/N doesn't match their records and the likely reason is that at the time I had the console repaired for a bluetooth failure and it seems the bastards swapped the whole motherboard.
Is there any way to access the serial number in the hardware? The console has HEN installed by the way.
Thanks a lot!
So I managed to flash dump the NOR and with PS3tools I was able to at least confirm the model (CECH-3001).
I also disassembled the console and the only 11 character string I could find is this one, though I have no idea if it has anything to do with the S/N. Any idea of what this code is?
