Should I update?

I have a PS3 nonCFW with Hen 3.0.1 and HFW 4.85.1, I saw that there is a new system update, should I update? Which are the advantage and disadvantage?

you must should be update to HFW 4.86.1 because 100% advantage!

No real advantage. Sony released 4.86 ofw, so hfw released 4.86.
The updated HEN tools on the other hand, might require 4.86, and usually have bugfixes/improvements/newfeatures/etc
The other advantage is that you can access PSN again if you are on 4.86... otherwise, no real need.
I think i might even have a system that is still on last rebug rex released... thought about updating, but there wasn't a real need for featureset updates, or psn access or any of that for this system.... so just stalled on it until i hear my room mate say something about it. lol

No. You can install HFW directly. You don't need install first OFW.
