Well hey guys...
The story is i've bought a ps3 with a "hdd problem" it turned out the hdd is dead as well but i found a another problem where the update came at roughly 50% (ofw 4.89) and it just jumped over to 100% with the black screen coming on afterwards like usual but the RSOD appears right after finishing the update and i cant reach the XMB whatshoever (tried restarting multiple times / database rebulids etc...)
What would be my best bet to fix this up, since i came up to conclussion the NOR on the board might be f up with an previous unfinished update.
Do i need an E3 Nor flasher so i could dump something onto it via flash and what should exactly i do with it since i have no experience with these, any type of help would be appreciated i'd love to save this console since it really seems mint condition and its pretty cool / quiet considering its never been opened / syscon. Thanks.
