1) What OPL version are you using? OPL v1.1.0

2) Where did you download this OPL version?

github dot com

/ps2homebrew/Open-PS2-Loader/releases

3) Is your PS2 console soft modded (FMCB/FHDB) or using a Modchip or combined? Softmod, FMCB v1.966

4) What model is your PS2 console (exact model number)? SCPH-77001

5) If reporting issues with a game, provide the following: complete Game Title, Game ID, and MD5 Checksum. No specific game, this happens with every game I have tried. I tried iso files from redump just to make sure it wasn't a "bad dump" I was using, but that did not change the result.

6) And what device (i.e. Disc tray, USB, HDD, or SMB) are you loading the game from? SMB using Windows 10. PC and PS2 are each connected to their own smaller router. Those two smaller routers are connected to my main router.

7) Now please explain your issue below, but remember only one issue per help topic.

OPL is able to read the SMB games list, but when any game is launched, it always hangs at a pink/magenta debug screen. Seems like my PS2 and PC can communicate with each other, but for some reason the games will not launch.
Couple of quick questions I had on my end:
1. Games via SMB do not need to be specially formatted or defragmented, correct?
2. The drive containing the SMB share does not need to be of a special file format, correct?
I am happy to provide more information as needed. Thanks!

I turned on the PS2, opened the command prompt (as an admin if that matters), and put in "ping 192.168.1.255" (the static IP address I have set in OPL's settings). The result:

Pinging 192.168.1.255 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 192.168.1.255:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
Obviously something is amiss. Any tips on troubleshooting? Seems weird that the game list will show up, and OPL otherwise seems to be connected with the SMB share.

Apologies for the silly mistake. This seems to have solved the issue. I can now successfully ping my console, and I was able to boot up a game using the SMB share. Thank you!
