PS2 Soldering

Hello Guys, so I bought a used ps2 (SCPH-70004), unscrewed it and found a modchip inside called Muppet v12, the problem with this modchip is that the boot logo is disabled and I can't change it back so I wanted to change it so I tried to visit every technician and some of them told me that they don't support piracy and other ones asked a big amount of money. Now, I looked up on the internet and it said that I need some soldering skills, so the question is, what do I need to know about soldering before starting the installation of a modchip? (I'm completely new to soldering)
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad grammar :)

If you're completely new to soldering, you shouldn't mess with something like a PS2 modchip as your first project. It's a very delicate process and easy for newcomers to mess up due to the precision required to solder the pads and wires.

Oh yes of course, do you have any tips on how to start? like what beginner project should I do to get used gradually to soldering
