Hello guys!

Title says it all...

  1. Initially I was on Evilnat 4.88.2 and everything was working as expected
  2. Then I installed littlebalup 4.88 DualBoot
  3. (re)installed Evilnat 4.88.2
  4. lost Network Tab > [★ Custom Firmware Tools] > PSN Tools

Any solution?

Thanks

Littlebalup 4.88 DualBoot is a special Official Firmware (OFW) that lets you reinstall Custom Firmware (CFW) without having to jailbreak again your PS3 console with bgtoolset.

So right now you are on OFW and that's why you lost all CFW features like Package Manager, CFW Tools, ability to execute homebrews, etc.

The fix is very simple: reinstall Evilnat's CFW 4.88.2 from Settings > System Update or from recovery menu.

This is a nice guide if you need help installing CFW

Hey Aldo!! :)

I already tired reinstalling Evilnat, but still NO "PSN Tools".

I went also to the whole process of reverting / downgrading to OFW 4.82, completely wipe PS3, patching with ps3xploit and then install Evilnat... But no luck :sem blush:

I can confirm Evilnat CFW is working in all of its functions (installing and executing homebrews, enabling COBRA, etc.. ), but the "PSN Tools" entry is still missing.

DualBoots CFWs are CFWs with exactly the same as OFW (i.e to been a lot more safe from console ban playing online, syncing trophies etc.) but with patches allowing You to install CFW. So it is enough to just put any CFW on USB and install it.

I do not see how this can be possible. During fw installation, ale XMLs in eFlash/VFLASH are replaced.

Yep. pluggins too. Are you sure you didn't messed with different PUP files? i mean, are you sure you reinstalled Evilnat's 4.88.2? You should check your pup MD5.
