PS3 [Solved] Is it possible to extract games, updates and DLC on PC and transfer them to PS3?

As you all know, extracting PKG files on the PS3 is very slow, so I've been using this tool to extract PKGs on my PC. It's at least 5-10 times faster than doing it natively on the PS3.

But there is one problem, if I extract the base game and move it to my PS3, afterward I use "rebuild database" and the game will show inside of XMB, everything is fine, the problem is that when I extract the game and the DLC, the game won't show up inside of XMB. Also I can see that certain files like "param.sfo" are being overwritten when I extract the DLC and the base game into the same folder. Does anyone know if it's possible to extract the base game, update, and DLC and transfer them to the PS3?

PSN games have PARAM.SFO with category HG. This category makes the games appear on game column of XMB.

DLC and some game updates have PARAM.SFO with category GD. This is used to update games without replace PARAM.SFO.

If you replace the original PARAM.SFO with one with category GD or DG, the game will not appear on XMB.

You should PARAM.SFO with one having category HG before transfer the game to PS3.

If the game has updates applied, use the PARAM.SFO from the last update. Just make sure it has category HG.

Thank you so much for this comment, I think I understand what I have to do now, I just have to keep the param.sfo that has the HG category, and delete the ones that use GD or DG. GD is for updates and DLC, and DG is for disc games, HG is for PSN games, so they have to be bootable from the XMB.
