here's what I meant to put in the second post. I didn't realize that arch used such a high glibc version, so I rebuilt it in ubuntu 20.04, which uses glibc 2.32 iirc (arch used 2.39). it's not buildable in ubuntu 18.04, which would've be 2.27. you should be good if you're at or above 2.32 for this version. if you have problems with dependencies, try using symlinks (ln -s). I only redid this, because the last one I made, in the deleted message, accidentally had plus enabled. I tested this one, and it's disabled.
