SONY no longer sending emails for bans on PS3?

As the title states, I have been "banned" from accessing SEN but there is no email to verify that

When examining my setup via SEN Enabler.

Firmware / Spoof says: 4.84 [REBUG] [COBRA 8.2] - 4.87

Machine is Debug [DEX] [NOR]

and yes, in SEN/PSN options, SEN Access is flagged as "Enabled"

ConsoleID in LV2 is a valid IDPS that I have been using for a year and a half

ConsoleID in EID0 is DEX "82" that I believe came with the PS3 when I bought it like 5 years ago

I have never bothered with changing the EID0 because I have always been able to get online without doing so

IDPS is a valid key that I have been using for a year and a half without being banned

PSID is also valid, which came with the IDPS when purchasing this CID in April of 2020

and I've always used TargetID of 0x83 [Retail Japan] [CEX]

Mobo is an 0x09 (CECH-20xxA-B (120GB/250 GB Slim) - [NO PS2] - DYN001)

and on XMB > Settings > Debug Settings... NP Environment is set to "np" like it should be to get online

That is everything I go through and normally SEN is accessible after these steps but that does not seem to be the case anymore. I am aware of the new authentication methods (not to an exact tee as to what has been changed but enough to know that something has been altered.)

I'm guessing that it's something to do with the Firmware / Spoof at the top of SEN Enabler but not sure

If so, is there any way to spoof to 4.88 without having to switch to Evilnat's CEX CFW?

Call me a relic of the past but I don't want to give up DEX and I wish there could be a new release but with how things have looked for the last 5+ years I don't see that happening... It makes me wonder if there even is a DEX build beyond that of 4.84.2 (and we're just not aware of it?)

This is my first time trying to access PSN since the 4.88 update (So it doesn't surprise me I guess)

Still, I have no email confirming my ban... and that is a first considering I got emails for my other 3 bans.
 
It isn't safe to use SEN Enabler on 4.88 that is why he didn't make the app. The "safest" way is using his CFW disabling syscalls via the XMB or PSN Patch. And if you wanna test if you are banned try logging in with your PC/Mobile app. If you can log in you aren't banned. Sony has not really been doing bans. It been the devs banning via their servers. GTAV, Destiny & COD games.

So, I can confirm that I am still able to access PSN mobile :P

Has the Playstation App really changed this much that you can't use it to check your trophies anymore?

I haven't used the PS App on a mobile device since my 1st original ban on an important account... and I still remember that day, freaking out because of the ban message on PS3, then trying to login to the same account on my PS4 which was the admin account for that console, only to find out I couldn't login there or even on the mobile Playstation App, so from then on I always had a paranoia of the mobile app and stopped using it... Lost $600 or more of content from the PS Store and had to overthrow the banned account from my PS4 and replace it with a new admin account.

Plus, in general, never really used the mobile app for anything other than to message 1 person who I haven't spoke to in 2 years now.

and you say "devs" lol but last time I played MW2 with a SPRX menu on PS3, I got "server-banned" by some RepzIW4 moderator which in my opinion is not a real dev because I am all too familiar with acquiring the "Skidrow" variant of MW2 for PC and patching it with all of the IW4 files that add extra guns, skins, levels, etc.

and if there are Repz modders on MW2 now then I wonder if any of them know how to add those map mods such as Tropical Favela, Tropical Estate, Winter Storm, Winter Crash, the maps from MW1 or single player maps from the MW2 campaign

Well you aren't banned and yes it has changed that much. And the modders use others IDPS numbers. A lot of those mod menus steal your IDPS and they are made public on consolecrunch or sold to multiple users. Sometimes it is gotten legitimately like mine. I have 4-5 numbers I am not using as I got them from dead systems with a teensy++ and I hear you about the losing a ton of content. Happened to me as well but luckily I was able to reactivate all the games. Sucks but it's the game modders must play with Sony
