so, the team of the PSOne made an announcement that v4.89 for the ps3 has been released, so if you want cfw wait till either evilnat updates their cfw or a new Modder mods the system

Sony have released a new firmware update 4.89 for PS3 consoles

I recommend People running Hfw with hen Remain on your current firmware till a new Hfw and hen is released

You won't be able to login till then and if you update to Sony firmware you won't be able to run your PKG files or multiman


Also if the HFW and HEN Devs see this thread could you please advise us all when we will expect to see an update in the comments thanks.

No hen is of right now on 4.88 pss3 updated to 4.89 today

Yes, as you said 4.89 was released just today, so naturally nothing has been updated for it yet. Just be patient and give developers a chance, since they do it in their free time, free of charge. It will be ready when it is ready and not before.
