PS5 Sony so annoying with this continuous update shit

I have the system updates turned off but it seems useless as the updates still manage to reach my console locking me out my account unless i update, is there anyway to stop this nonsense? im sure im way out of jailbreaking range because of this

Yeah, if you want access to PSN, syn trophies, cloud saving, etc. you have to update.

It could be worse. It could be the switch, where they almost never introduce new features. Though, I would agree there haven't been too many worthwhile features introduced in the PS5 imo.

If you don't want the updates then don't connect the console to the internet...
I didn't connect my console to the internet ever since i got it, I am on 8.60 waiting for a Jailbreak.

I don't really see a way to do firmware downgrades with the PS5.

Being on the latest firmware is a sure fire way of having a 0% chance to jailbreak your console.
