Split larger pkg files for OFW

Hello.

I want to know if there is an app that auto split large pkg files in order to install them via USB.
EDIT: It is, check it here.
Until now, I have done it by my self, creating debug pkg, however, there should be an easier way.
I know out there are plenty tutorials about how to do it, but all of the ones I have found are for CFW, so, is out there an app for OFW?

Dont forget this OFW hack only just came out like 10 days ago, and there have not been many releases since, so no, there has not been an app made for splitting pkgs for OFW..yet. You will have to wait or do it the manual way. I think when new HAN related apps come out you will hear about them

It seems so, but I am working with large PKGs. The program seems to be made for disc based games resulting from the program CFW2OFW as the instruction states that the splitter should be placed with 2 folders named B????? and N?????.

Anyway, it does what I was looking for, it creates several folders structure folders with size no larger than 4gb.
I believe there is an error at the end because it does not auto create the pkg files, but I am working on that.

If you have PS3 Tools Collection installed, try right-click on .pkg file, select PKG Tools > Split PKG

I don't remember if this feature was fully tested or not... It has been there for many years

On HAN you have to resign each PKG or enable debug pkg install.... On CFW you can install the PKGs directly.

There is no need for that. Just follow Aldo instructions as this will result in several PKGs smaller than 4GB. You just have to install them in the PS3 one by one.

I tested cfw2ofw2pkg auto splitter - BUAYA REUPLOADED but it does not properly convert some games, such as Fifa 18 , it ends up appearing at Game Data Utility , instead of Game ( probably a messup in the PARAM.SFO )
