Splitting ISO files and copying them to multiman

I have some PS2 ISO files that are over 4GB, therefore I cannot transfer them using my USB FAT32 Drive from my computer to my PS3. I tried splitting them but I don't think the split files are working. They show up in system as PS2 isos and load up as if a PS2 disc was in the system, but they don't boot and just stay on black screen after attempting to boot. Some of the games weren't even split, they were just made smaller to 3.99 GB and instead of ".iso" at the end of the name of the file, it was ".iso.0"... I've tried transferring the files by FTP but I can't connect to server and I've tried everything Google has mentioned and figured FTP is too complicated LOL... Splitting is easy, I just want to know if I'm doing it right and if not can someone tell me how to do it right and get it working ? I'm uploading and loading them with multiman.

FTP but error? Maybe you should check for connection issues especially firewall issues.

On the second part, if you're using HEN, try to repackage PS2 isos as PS2 Classics PKG instead. If you're still insisting on running the PS2 isos, it must be converted into iso.bin.enc.

Try to use filezilla for FTP purpose. PS3 IP address can be seen either on multiman or from the system information settings.

then just transfer them to PS2ISO folder without splitting and you're fine.you can also try webman MOD and irisman.

Filezilla is what I'm using for FTP transfer. My IP address is hidden and I can't access it from the rebug toolbox or from the OFW system settings nor does it show on my xmb in the right hand corner. I looked up the error code and it told me that it had something to do with my firewall settings so I just turn my firewall completely off and still got the same error... So I'm assuming it's something to do with the system Maybe?

Your ps3 IP can not be hidden. It sounds like it has not got one at all. Did you say its connected directly to your PC via LAN cable? Really it is easier to set up if you connect both devices to a router.

PS2ISOs can not be split afaik. You can use IRISMANs file manager to copy files from NTFS drives, or get FTP set up which is probabl;y the best option. Its super easy once both devices are on the same LAN.

Yea thats exactly what it seems like with the IP address, I don't have one. Yes it was connected via Ethernet cable (LAN). My PS3 doesn't have wireless connectivity, just wired (Model CECH-B01, 20GB, early launch)

If you can not use a router, Then these network settings will work via direct connection for FTPing files. Set the PC and PS3 manually to those, then connect to 192.168.0.3 with your FTP client.

Do not bother testing the connection the PS3, internet will not work unless you have internet connection sharing set up, but anyway, it will work for FTP.

On the PC part. Do I set those settings in Mt system or in Filezilla ?
