PS3 Spoof 4.75 Enabler - Disabler v1.16

As the new official firmware by Sony has hit the scene we will be promptly reporting updates to various homebrew apps for custom firmware users. First up is this spoofer by developer Arch that will spoof your current custom firmware to Sony's latest 4.75 version. Thus allowing access to PSN. This spoof still requires some testing, so I will hold back till some reports have come from those who have tested it. Some things to note is that this spoofer is not compatible with Cobra versions[break].[/break] of custom firmware. Take a look at the developers release notes to see which custom firmware versions are compatible. If you are running a older spoofer on your PS3 be sure to remove/uninstall that first. Update v1.16 :

* remove spoof for 4.50 cfw

* add spoof for official Rebug 4.70 (only in normal mode / untested)

* add spoof version 4.75 for cfw standard CEX 4.46 / 4.55 / 4.60 / 4.65 / 4.66

CFW Supported :

- CFW ROGERO 4.46 ( compatible Cobra version )

- CFW 4.46.1 Rebug REX in normal mode only !

- All CFW CEX Standard version 4.46 / 4.55 / 4.60 / 4.65 / 4.66

- REBUG 4.65.1 or 4.65.2 only in Normal mode !

- REBUG 4.70 only in Normal mode !



CFW unsupported :

all CFW's COBRA edition not cited in the cfw compatible list



Install note :

Delete your old spoof if you have one installed

Download and install the package
Launch the application, choose the version of your CFW and then choose to enable or disable the spoof 4.66
Then put yes to two successive questions (yes to reboot, yes to Hard reboot).
Console restarts and ok.


Note: If you have a ps3 that does not restart correctly. No panic, just reinstall your CFW by the recovery mode.

if I remember right, it works for the most part but I believe it breaks PS2, PSP playback

Every spoof breaks emus or not..? As a remember the old multiman's too...

But you tried one of the "new methods" with Rebug or Habib ISO loader or not?..and them are homebrew softwares...
"old" emu with sync issue which implemented in CFW...think it crashes...

but this is my theory only...will try it soon


Note: webMAN "my games" option disappears from XMB but it still runs and can be accessed from PC...(CECHC 4.70 Habib Cobra, i havent tried on my slim but i am going to)

So I dont rly know but I believe I have a normal cfw w/ cobra. And it says its 4.70 cfw. So like what do i do? Can I use this spoof?

Btw I'm new with this cfw things so I know very little about it.

When running on a spoof CFW COBRA indeed connecting to PSN is ok, but the COBRA payload does not work 100% in most cases. That is why we said that the compatibility with CFW's COBRA is not safe.
For this to work 100%
I would have to change and I add for each CFW vsh.self the modified original file. This will make a huge package. I try to choose from the most classic of CFW's.

Lost PSP compatibility, X.XX version system. Generally is unsafe more for psn purposes but can be sometime dangerous also offline. Better wait 2 days for 4 .75 cfw (probably max 1 week). Or wait until spoof will be tested more with other cfw's.

gets eid5 idps(original, no spoof can change this) by pressing l3+r2+square, prints it on the screen and dumps at /dev_hdd0/tmp/idps

please help me I have Rogero 4.55 and the spoofer 4.70 and my son was accidentally wiped spoofer and I'm stuck on 4.70 how can the spoofer to exclude that I installed this new spoofer ...

If the PS3 has been updated to official 4.75, then you will have to have it downgraded - if it is possbile.
Try a downgrader service in your area.

Thank you for your advice I solved the problem in the manner that I installed Habib 4.70 CFW in recovery mode.

As soon as your modified console hits the sony network, your risk goes up from 0. a spoof is going to get your firmware to be seen as the right version. Nothing more.
Other software may help prevent ban, but waiting for a 4.75 cfw and using the appropriate tools for that firmware is FAR better than increasing your risk of ban.

I did this spoofer with Habib 4.70 v1.03 cobra, and got a temp system ban from sony. READ CAREFULLY! I never saw the notes that it wasnt for cobra cfws. Just fyi.
