Are sprx files not working on hen? I have an eboot with mods on mw3 and its working fine, but it also has a sprx Plugin. But I Always get a black Screen when I use a sprx.

Jesus Christ so many questions about this can you JUST resign the sprx or eboot ????? and please check the sprx its CEX or DEX menu

The Eboot works for me it has mods Like ESP and No Recoil. But it also has an sprx plugin and when I add a sprx File in the tmp folder, I get a black Screen when Starting the Game. And yes I tried many that should work in cex.

Don't use mods but try the guys advice as HEN requires stuff like that to be signed with 3.55 keys whereas CFW uses the newer keyset. It's what we have to deal with when you can't run full CFW systems. It is just like the old 3.55 but now we are lucky enough to be able to decrypt 4.00+ content so we can sign to 3.55 whereas back then we didn't have the keys and had time rely on Paradox time release patches.

based on my experience, something wrong with eboot (resigning = 80010017 error), something wrong with sprx = black screen, missing or corrupted files = infinite loading.

When I remove the sprx and start the Game normally I get the Error 80010009. When using han I can start the Game, so there has to be Something with the sprx? But I tried so many menus

I think the firmware version is in the header above the elf in hex (it is with os sprx files at least). the easiest way to check which firmware the sprx is signed to is to use scetool gui. it will tell you all the information about the file.

I'm not sure. I don't know much about hen, but I thought I read that files needed to be resigned to 3.55. one of the easiest ways to do that is true ancestor.

I'm not sure if that's the latest, so you might have to google. it's several years old, but that version should be able to resign to 3.55. in fact, there's a specific option for that.

I think the default output is 4.21, but you can change it with o. each time you press that button, it will cycle through 4.21 and 3.55.

I Always get the Error that the sprx decryption failed

check the file in scetool gui. it could be a problem with keys in the data folder. I think you can take the files from scetool (the one in ps3tools) and override the ones in true ancestor's. it may not be recognizing the firmware due to being so old.
