Stuck in update loop

I have a superslim ps3. It has a broken/bad wifi/bluetooth module. It was on ofw 4.55. I downloaded 4.75 ofw and tried to update via usb. Now it is stuck in a update loop. It starts update process, gets stuck at 61%, it says to restart the console and try again. Then the same thing happens again and again.

I read that this is relates to the broken wifi/bluetooth module. Could someone please tell me if there is any way to update without replacing the module? Or is there a way to stop the update process and go back to the currently installed firmware

In OFW the only way to get out that loop is by fixing the wifi/BT module

You can try to take the motherboard out, and use some kind of "press" to grab the motherboard with strenght from the two sides over the wifi/BT module... and without releasing the pressure do the firmware installation (AND KEEP THE FAN AND HEATSINK IN PLACE)

This could work only if the problem is a cracked solder ball under the wifi/BT module... the pressure can make the electrical connections to work temporally, enought to complete the firmware installation

If the problem is caused by a burned component inside the wifi/BT module (there are resistors, capacitors, inside, etc... that gets fryed by overheat)... then this trick with the pressure is not going to work though

I had same problem on PS3's friend.
it was because dvd player (plate cable) was unpluged. I plugged good (contact) and finished update very well

Since CECH-25xx the BD controller (chip) is integrated on main motherboard, so you can remove the BD drive entirelly and the PS3 will keep working normally without it
In previous PS3 models the BD controller (chip) was located on the BD controller board (aka daughterboard) and is needed to be connected to main motherboard

He has a superslim, so is not probable that the problem comes from the BD controller (chip) soldered on his motherboard
His speculation seems to be right, the problem comes from wifi/BT module
It can be because either the solder balls of the wifi/BT module has broken, or some component inside the wifi/BT module has been burnt... both caused by overheat
