PS3 Suggestions for which JAILBREAK/MOD/ETC for my PS3 CECH-A01

never jailbroke or modded ps3 for backwards compatibility, so I am asking for suggestions on what route would be BEST for my console. With all the subjects and options available on these forums, I am a bit overwhelmed on what to do. apologies for oversharing following info if uneccessary:

board: COK-002;
platform ID: CokB10;
Official firmware version: 4.80 build 50612;
product code: 84;
product subcode: 0003;
syscon firmware version: C16.0001000.100030003 eeprom-0001000100030003;
minimum applicable firmware version 1.0;
flash memory type: nand 256MB

Best option would be to install CFW.

First update to OFW 4.82 or above, then use BgToolset to patch the flash memory, and then install CFW.

Technically he can just jailbreak on 4.80. BG Toolset supports 4.75+

Indeed!. I wasn't 100% sure if it was fully developed and tested, but yes, he can jailbreak on 4.80.
