PS3HEN Super Slim unable to boot up after installing the 4K Pro Mod.

I installed it, followed the on-screen instructions, and restarted.

...ended up on a gray screen. No buttons worked, pressing the power button once will get me 3 rapid beeps.

I've tried all of the options in the safe mode menu, everything ends up stuck in "preparing... please wait", longest I waited on one was 1-2 days. How do I fix my PS3? Nothing happens, no matter if the HDD is in the PS3, same result always. I'm down to just wipe the bloody thing if I have to, as long as I get my PS3 to a factory new state (software-wise), I can always reinstall HEN.

Hey! How can I do that? I assume the system update from safe mode? If so, do I just download the latest update from the internet (I remember I am 1 update behind the latest one), then install HEN, or do I just directly install HEN somehow?
 
1. Insert USB flash drive in your PC
2. Download HFW from **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new)
3. rename it to 'PS3UPDAT.PUP'
4. Copy the PUP to 'PS3/UPDATE/' folder on USB flash
5. Insert USB into your Ps3
6. From a powered off state, press and hold the power button on your Ps3.
7. Keep held until the Ps3 has shut down again.
8. Press and hold the power button again until you hear 2 beeps in quick succession.
You are now in Recovery Mode.
9. Connect your Ps3 controller via USB
10. Select 'System Update'
11. Follow onscreen instructions to install HFW.

After this install HEN.

That mod changes several system files with custom files, which might be causing the black screen issue. Reinstalling HFW will restore those files back to Original.

yeah well, seems like that's definitely the cause of screwing my PS3 up. is there any way to install it while avoiding that issue?

Weird. There is a lot of people with issues after installing this mod on HEN. I see at least 2 other similar cases in a row. Is the install instructions right? I was considering to install that, but I'm a little bit afraid.

If you can reinstall the same revision official firmware that your currently on, twice in recovery menu to overwrite both ros areas then double install your hfw to put the hfw on both ros areas
Now try following the guide.
