Is there an easy way or a homebrew application for the ps3 the is designed to swap in game models like for example changing the suit in batman Arkham city to the batman suit ?

I see Youtube videos of people playing the Batman Arkham game with the Batman 1989 version of Batman along with that movie's music. I saw that those were PC mods. But do such mods exist for PS3?

To my knowledge the only batman 1989 Batman's suit available is in batman Arkham knight Which is a ps4 game and I have not seen any mods for the batman Arkham city/asylum ps3 version

Im not aware of any existing mods but there is a tool for Unreal 3 games called "UPK Explorer" and it allows you to extract and insert models into unreal games both PC and console versions so i would start there if that is what you wish to do.
