before RE4 it was really "horror game", since it's more action, not really scary, and more action with the 5 and so much WTF with the 6 which is the hated one...If you search something less in action in an horrific mood, I would suggest The evil within.
Thanks for all these informations about temps, but now I hesitate to begin to play TLOU on my loved ps3 slim...maybe it's time to find a ps4pro for a good price! ;-)
I played RE7 a few times (one time in VR), and the atmosphere is heavy!! totally different from the others, more ambiance!

Its a needless fear that TLOU is too heavy for PS3. Its not. And PS3, specially 65nm and below architecture CPU & RSX don't have any problem at all running the game. So no problems for slims & super slims.
Another good thing about TLOU was that it was very well optimized for PS3. FPS are mostly stable and game runs smoothly from start to finish.

thank you snkplkn, that's true I don't have a phat, so I will play it this winter! you right ;-)
Finally got my hands on Last of us Part 2. The game is good as it gets. Very well optimized for PS4 and i played on base PS4 (old fat model). I was able to avoid all spoilers and negative opinions. Without going into spoilers, i only have few complains about scripting (little too complicated) and technical points (combat system, user interface, gameplay mechanics etc). Game overall is great and well deserved sequel.
I strongly recommend the game with latest patch to fix some bugs. Some technical points can be improved in TLOU Part 2 if we can have 60 FPS on PS5. I hope that PS5 version patch can be made to run on 60 FPS in future. But for now, its good to go on 30 FPS.
If you can get a good price bundle on part 1 and part 2, go for it.
