PS5 The next Grand Theft Auto is in early development confirmed by IGN

Was about time to make something new, after milking the 5th for 2 Generations and 7 years later, GTA isn't what its used to be, after Online was introduced.

V had to be the biggest disappointment in my days of gaming. That was the first game I ever actually "pre-ordered" and likely the last. I had big hopes and expectations, was let down on all of it. Thought the game could've just did with either Michael or Franklin. The character switching, lack of meaningful character development, and annoying humor / story ruined a lot for me. They did a great job capturing the stupidity of the era though. I replayed the game a second time about 2 years ago and decided to focus my efforts on Franklin, (went with the all 3 live the first time) the ending was just LOL! (least for me and my screwed up sense of humor.)

Not to mention after all the hype for Heists... I remember it was PAINFUL trying to get anything done with random players.. Never bought it on the xbone so I quit the online part shortly after they stopped providing updates on the ps3. I had a lot more fun with SAMP / MTA a decade ago. III / VC / SA should be the framework for any GTA game lol. Hoping 6 will be better if we live to see the day, hope they get back to their roots.

GTA V was not actually a disappointment if it was a disappointment it would not have been in PS4 number 3 in selling charts today even after 7 years.

That's probably because 12 year old's and teenager's milked it and continue to do so. Never said it was a financial disappointment lmao.

Just my opinion. I hated V. I was personally disappointed. I'll likely not be pre-ordering VI / 6.
