PS2 Theme Aurora

@Branquiiara1971
Your work is very creative and has a lot of good ideas in how you implement layouts.
That said, I have to offer you some unfortunate constructive criticism.

They are absolutely unusable in terms of quality, completeness, and presentation. I am sorry to say it, because you seem to understand the code quite well despite this.
They are way too busy, nothing is in place or dimensioned properly, and there are so many things that you can still refine on your themes to finish them.
What you have been uploading here on the site has consistently been unfinished work.

I strongly encourage you to slow down, focus on one theme at a time, and make your ideas presentable in quality.
Making MORE themes rather than QUALITY themes is not going to advance your skillset or promote personal growth.

You have a lot of potential and vision, and I really hope to see you apply it properly to your work.

With warm regards,
Ripto

The problem is when you create multiple low quality posts, the entire board suffers.
I encourage you to spend more than 20 minutes on a theme, as most of these are essentially spam and low quality to most readers.
You have an amazing understanding of the code, why not refine your skills and focus on one theme?

The majority of us spend at least an hour, usually much more, often days/weeks/months, optimizing and refining the presentation. Alignment and sounds are only part of the process, and it feels like this is where you call it done when there is so much still left to do.

I come to you as a fellow hobby enthusiast. The entirety of Page 2 here is filled with your themes alone, with sparce download counts and low engagement - one can only conclude that the work is not being received well by others. I would implore you to take this as a sign to try to make an effort.

Rather than give up or continue posting multiple low effort themes, I am suggesting you do it right because you clearly understand how to and are choosing not.

In fact, I think there should be a "quality control" for this section if I'm not wrong, that's how they do it in "PS2-Home".
If any topic meets the requirements, it "passes the test" so to speak, otherwise the application is rejected.

while I do agree, it may be difficult to put it on staff to accept/reject this sort of thing. they already have to moderate new posters to prevent spam, and they also moderate the off topic section with new posts, probably for the same reason. it may be practical if they had more staff, I guess, but I dunno.

Relax, this was the last post, I hope you maintain the quality of the themes, it was just a hobby, I didn't expect it to irritate so many people. Keep up the good work.

don't take criticism too personally. I don't even own a ps2 to test your work, but I have used opl. the original poster was just saying you can do better. that should encourage you to improve your skills. however, I get what you're saying. the scenes are ones where you have to enjoy what you do. it's a thankless job most of the time, but you have to want to do it. it's unfortunate, but that's just the way it is. that's what keeps me going. I want to learn, to learn more, even if I'm one of the few who cares about that sort of thing.

I was trying to be honest about your clear capacity to improve, not tell you to stop.
You have good scripting and vision - I am saying slow down, hone your skills.

I'm not saying quality control. Just maybe not 10 themes in a row that took less than an hour total. I'm not sure where the line is but I want to encourage growth for my piers, not chase them away. Also at no point asked him to stop, but rather suggested and pointed out that he is good and chooses to do low quality when he clearly has the capacity and understanding of the script. My first theme is atrocious but the idea is to improve and have fun.

I apologize if I have come off too aggressive. I really mean to elevate rather than decimate.

Of course, this task is intended for qualified people, Someone with experience in creating themes.

You're confused boy, if you look closely we are talking about an important topic that I touch @Ripto, at least I haven't talked about your topic much less tried it, apparently it looks good.
