Man! After a year(or was it 2?) of playing online on a jailbroken PS3. Sony has finally banned my account AND my PS3 from PSN. This Thread is created for people who are in the same situation with me. We can share experiences playing online, Have a good conversation and maybe just maybe.... we can find a way. I wouldn't buy a "legit"and "genuine" ID. Maybe there is another way. Besides, I think it's time to buy a PS4

My first account was banned 2 years ago after i used the credit card glitch before PSN went down for 6-7 month. Luckily my Console was not banned so i created another Account 1 year ago and since then no Ban. I use it only for playing Fifa 15 online. All Good ^^

I was given a console ID from a fellow moderator from another site a few years back. Still using it :) FYI, so you just know and if anyone is thinking it :) we don't allow the selling of console ID's here. Just a friendly reminder to those who might not be aware :)

When i lost my account and ID (along with $400+ of PSN content) I got three from him as well for $10 each. Still not banned yet but ready to go should it happen again. My ID I buy content with only gets logged in while using a DB OFW and its own PSID. Don't play online at all anyhow so no big loss. I managed to get a few from dead systems from my local pawnshop owner. He gave me 10 systems told me to make 4 good ones the rest were mine so I booked up my E3 to dump the ID's and gave them to friends while keeping a couple. So I have five now and ready if Sony were to be an ass again. I got banned and never once played online. Only trophy sync, purchasing from PSN and Netflix/Hulu.
 
haven't purchased anything off psn yet... i mean, i've "purchased" free titles from there, and install fine
trophy sync, netflix, hulu, youtube is the majority of it. Every so often play online.
 
not banned since the first ps3 jailbreak. Be smart and respect the network (that means no cheating or modding of games in anyway) You have a great chance of not being banned.
Also most of my logins have been spoofed and on a REBUG CFW. which people say is risky but in my experiance its not what so ever and the truth of the matter is that is speculation. IMHO Sony is limited in what they can view and see of your console. People REALLY have to remember the firmwares are the same per region and they have to be withiin the laws of many regions therefore they CANNOT view many things that many think they can.

All i can do is tell you my experiences and what i have seen and i have never been banned since the 3.41 days.

Nope, As most who sell these ID's are not on the up and up.. Sell Stolen ID's, Sell same ID to multiple people. ect.

This is not to say everyone does this, but we have seen it and we made the decision to not allow the sale of these on this forum for the protection of everyone.
 
it's still a mystery as to what sony is "looking" for, but cheating/modding is definitely one of 'em. sony is most likely placing a flag on the system it's in for an upcoming ban. the 360 worked in this way as well. there was an app that could determine if ur system was up for a ban. I still vehemently believe that some eboots r trying to create a file in certain sections of the hdd that it wouldn't normally have access to. if it succeeds, ur on cfw. that's the way Nintendo's ds ap worked anyway. if it could save a file larger than the flash clip of the cartridge, ur using a flash cartridge.

oh, and I believe that the most likely place that a flag would be installed is the xregistry. the kv, the 360's equivalent, is where the flag would be placed if up for a ban. though, thinking out loud, the "rebuilding the database" flag is placed on the hdd. the reason I think the xregistry is more likely the case is that it contains personal information about ur system.
