PS1 Time Crisis backup texture issue

Hi,

I hope getting help for this is allowed, apologies if not.

I own both Time Crisis and Point Blank on PS1 and recently got a CRT so I could play these game again. For the life of me I cannot find either of these games in my stuff.

I've tried to burn backups of these games to play, Point Blank seems to work perfectly, how ever Time Crisis the textures are all messed up, and sometimes the music stops or skips.

I took a screen cap that show the issue.

I've tried burning to different discs, different speeds, on different computers. The older computer I have found to try is a Vista era PC which burns at 10x at the lowest. Tried with ImgBurn and Daemon Tools. I have tried with my modern Verbatim CDs, as well as some older 1x-12x discs I found in storage. Because I can't find my original time crisis disc, I can't verify if the playstation is the problem, but other games are working fine.

Any help appreciated.

If you didn't rip the game from your owned, original disc, there isn't much to do here.

If you happen to find your original disc, then proceed to do a proper disc image.

Sorry was not my intention to discuss piracy!

I have managed to find the discs finally of course. Both together in the same CD sleeve, so I guess props to past me for doing that much.

I've tested and as expected my original copy works ok, so now I'll be doing research on how to take proper backup.
