PS3 Trophies and HEN 3.1.1 with FW 4.88

Hi all,
I bought a used ps3 some times ago already with HEN 3.1.1 installed and the ps3 firmware is 4.88, if I need to play roms I need to activate HEN and then mmCM.

I want to unlock trophies for the games I physically collect but I cant right now as I cannot login to PSN, searching on the net I saw that my ps3 FW is too old.

Is there a way to upgrade my ps3 so I can sync trophies?
If this is not possible how I can co back to the official firmware? And if I do so I can in the future when go back again to CFW or the newest firmware arent supported?

Update to 4.90 HFW then you can sync trophies. You will need to update HEN as well since you can't revert back below 4.90
