PS3 Trophies reset to 0% on game loading

Hi everyone!,

Hope you are well. I've noticed some strange thing happening to my trophies. They are in sync with PSN (luckily), and everytime I load a game its trophy set resets to 0%. I have to connect to PSN and resync everything just to get the correct trophies and their status.

I'm running CFW 4.88.2 Evilnat, along with the usual homebrew (webMAN MOD, Ultimate Toolbox, etc.).

Any one had this issue before?. I've already search on the forums with no luck, and got some hits on a couple of sites but without a thorough explanation (everybody said to just resync while in-game but that is quiet annoying and not a solution at all in my opinion).

Hope somebody can give me a clue on what's going on.

Have you done any editing or the trophies? Or used a save file from someone or another account?
 
I've being fooling around with some trophies, but deleted everything and started all over from PSN sync.

On your second question, you might be into something there. I've deleted my local account because of some data corruption and tried to export my saves to a USB drive, and then re import them using the PS3 Save Utility tool. Got no issues doing that and my saves loaded correctly (same PSN ID, only local user ID changed).
 
I have seen issues when fussing with them. I saw it a lot with TrophyIsGood. And try deactivate console then activate and see if that fixes the issue. It may not see it as your primary system unless you log in.
 
Indeed, I've noticed too that my console gets "deactivated" somehow, even though it is activated on PSN. Very strange behaviour.

Hi there!. First of all, clear out this things:
  1. Check that your console is activated on PSN (if it is already, deactivate and reactivate it).
  2. Sync all your trophies on your PSN account (remember to disable CFW syscalls before logging in).
  3. Connect to your PS3 via FTP and delete your user account's trophies (they're located in the /dev_hdd0/home/XXXXXXXX/trophy folder).
  4. Rebuild your PS3 database.
  5. Sync all your trophies once again (remember to disable CFW syscalls before logging in).
  6. Now you should be able to start a game along with your achieved trophies.
If you still get your trophies reset every time your start a game, then I believe that your PS3 user account is screwed. I couldn't find a way to fix it, only deleting it and creating a new one allowed me to get trophies again.

Also, if you are screwing around with PS3TrophyIsGood, remember to set up the program correctly or your trophy data will be corrupted.
