PS3 Trophy unlocking homebrew?

I would like to know what options are available to me in terms of trophy unlocking homebrew?

The reason I ask is because I have two PSN accounts. One which was started during the early PS3 days where I have around 50 platinum's achieved over time, and another which i started when PS4 was realeased as i didnt like my old PS3 account ID and wanted to have them split. I started hunting on my PS4 one however as time went on the ID change function eventually became a thing. Had i known that i would not have started hunting on my PS4 account.

Anyway, what i am hoping to do is use some kind of unlocking homebrew, if there have been developments of such to merge the detail from my old account to my new account, complete with games and timestamps that i earned them, so ideally, any software that i can click on a trophy and enter a timestamp upon unlocking.

I know that Rebug had a feature long ago that allowed you to unlock a single trophy by highlighting and pressing the unlock button, but no timestamp info can be added. This wont work as i need to keep all the original timestamps intact.

The best thing that you could do I think is if you have your PS3 yet and CFW, get littlebalup dualboot firmware (this way your PS3 won't be in a CFW and will be safier to go online) then create a new profile in your PS3, then log in with your PS4 account.
Now, sync your PS4 trophies in your PS3 in the profile that you just created and logged in.
Then logoff and reinstall your CFW, and now using FTP copy all the trophies from the profile with the PS3 user into the trophies folder of your PS4 profile. I think you may need to play a PS3 game with your PS4 profile to refresh your local trophies. Still offline, check your trophies in your PS4 profile, if all trophies are there it worked... if not, maybe you have to enter each PS3 game that had trophies to activate everything. If done correctly install a dualboot firmware again and enter in your PS4 profile and log in with your PS4 account and then sync your trophies. Check if the trophies are there.

I hope it works, because if it works it will have the exact timestamp that you had back in the PS3 days. And it will look legit and you won't be banned. Unlocking all trophies using a tool can be a bad idea, because it will look fake if everything was unlocked in the same date and time... but if you set exclusive timestamps for each trophy then you may be safe.

I had done something like this in the past in my PS3. I played Guacamelee in cooperative mode with my wife and I got almost all trophies but we played using her profile. I thought it wasn't fair to me, because the game isn't like LittleBigPlanet which two profiles playing coop can get trophies simultaneously. So I did the same thing I described to you but for one PS3 game. It worked as expected.

Good luck! Be safe on PSN, before using dualboot try to clean the history first with webMAN-MOD or psnpatch.

@Lambada This will not work. Trophies are signed and no one yet figure out how to properly edit them. You can use PS3TropyIsGood or Apollo, but they will not sync with SEN account. Besides that, trophies for PS4 games are only on Sony servers, PS4 and PS5, not PS3. Just like trophies for PS3 games, are only on servers and PS3.

This works only offline.

Apollo and TrophyIsGood can sync with SEN. I tested this scenario on both apps.

Thanks for the replies guys. I can see most of the methods seem to involve modifying the root files for unlocking trophies in bulk. I was hoping there is something like what was packaged into Rebug where you simply highlight the trophy you want to unlock and hit triangle for the pop, only difference is I need to be able to enter the time stamp - nothing so simple exists yet?

I think it was @haxxxen who showed me a trophy app where you can unlock one trophy at a time. I asked about time stamps. I forgot how they were done, but I think it automatically creates a random one or something. I don't know if it was an early build of trophyisgood or not though. I could also be thinking of the wrong dev, but I tagged him for you.

Excellent!! This is exactly what I'm looking for. Will stay peeled for a response

Apollo doesn't unlock in bulk, neither PS3TrophyIsGood. With both tools you can unlock single trophies too.

Everything is "SO SIMPLE" from a user point of view, right?... just write your own "simple trophy tool", nobody forbids you from building it yourself.

:sem blush:

I cannot remember I have shown it personally to you, but I remember having talked about it. maybe I have shown you the video? duno

anyways, here is the video I have made about it back then. I think I have messed with it, when some user has released this unlocker plugin on ngu (this can only unlock all trophies at once)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bivc9nvnnmtokhs/trophy.mp4?dl=0

the problem with this app, it is an official sample, so I am not sure about sharing it. and besides, the major problem with it, it is bound to NP commID, so it will only work for a single game. I am still not experienced enough, to maybe solve the binding problem, so you can automatically get the ID

@bucanero
great and sorry that I still haven't tried it myself. does Apollo apply valid timestamps as well? just curious, cause with this official sample all was valid

I personally, prefers Apollo, because it's simplicity to user... But I already start to help darkautism to improve and add some fixes to TrophyIsGood, so... "I'm in". About "bulk unlock", TrophyIsGood has a good feature to copy trophies from another profile, but I don't know if it works or how it works (I still didn't have enough time to read that part of code or even try it), probably it should help the OP...

yeah, @haxxxen , maybe I misremembered. you showed me a video of it in action, but you didn't upload it iirc. I forgot the reason for being curious about it. most likely I was talking about unlocking achievements on the 360 or something, which I used to do until I got caught. I didn't get banned, but they reset my gamerscore to 0.

I know I synced with SEN my PS3 trophies copying from my wife profile to my own profile. It worked. If I remember, I think I tried to use trophyisgood too. Maybe that's the way it worked, I don't remember exactly, I did it back in 2018 when I could jailbreak my slim with the exploit.
If I used trophyisgood, I think I tryed to take note of all trophies and then unlocked the same ones, and also added the original timestamps manually.

hi @jcorrea
I see that you have quite much knowledge about trophy unlocking.
I just have some simple questions, if you can help it is much appreciated

I don't want to modify any timestamp, I don't want to use other people's trophies set.
I just want to unlock some hard trophies, which I can't get because of my skill is not enough, and they have been bugging me for ages.
And the game doesn't even have platinum so I don't need to worry about how to make them looks legit.
With just that requirement, is using Apollo's unlocking feature a safe way? to get them synchronized?
Is there any hidden differences between a trophy unlocked by tool, and a trophy unlocked by actual playing, that Sony can actually detect? Anyone can help me get some revelation?

Apollo uses the current timestamp, those should be valid. But the main difference is that the official sample uses the SDK and NP API calls, so the trophy is truly unlocked just as the game would do. (you get a pop up on the screen, the XMB gets updated, PFD gets updated and signed, etc).
Apollo (like trophyIsGood) edits the trophy files directly, and then uses flatz's code to resign the PFD.

In a perfect scenario, maybe the code from your sample app could be ported to PSL1GHT and used in Apollo. That would provide a 100% accurate trophy unlocking. Anyways, it's just a theory as I don't have that sample code and I don't know the details... also there's no trophy sdk support on psl1ght.

@bucanero
I see, and also noticed there is no np lib or header included in psl1ght and I have no clue how to port the official lib. probably reversing the stuff. I guess there is no way to unpack a lib?
